Internet customers all over are having connections issues. When trying to connect to Netflix or Youtube or on-line banking, they are being told that they are using a proxy server or a VPN.
Tech support says this:
RE: Netflix: They believe they have identified and isolated the issue, it is merely about how long it will take them to fix it, It is a nationwide, AccessMyLan issue and they are all hands on deck to solve it. I predict it will be a few days but hopefully asap. As soon as I have a confirmed date or steps to resolve them I will advise to your team so they can reach out to all affected customers!
When you have customers reporting the issue we would like you to ask for the customer to provide the following information;
1) Open google and type whatsmyip and let us know what that ip address is
2) Ask what the customer is using to access Netflix – browser on PC/Laptop or Fire Stick, Roku or Chromecast, for example.
3) Also can you let us know what other online services any customers might have issues connecting to e.g. HBO, online banking – please note the 3 questions above are valid for all reports.
Can you have this completed for new customers reporting issue for Netflix.
