Do NOT insert your new SIM until instructed to do so.

Your device was issued a new sim card due to excess usage on your account.  Sadly, you cannot reprogram a SIM card.  You have to have a new one.

When we are notified an account is going to be disconnected, we try to get your SIM card to you in time so that you will not loose internet.  Your SIM was mailed to you 2 weeks ago in a brown envelope.

If your internet has already been shut off,  you will have to have a computer or tablet with an ethernet port and an ethernet cable in order to connect to the router directly.

This is an ethernet cable.  You need to connect the ethernet cable to the Lan2 port on the router and then connect to your computer.

If your internet is still on, you do not need the ethernet cable.

Open a browser on your computer such as google.com

Clear the address bar and type in the IP address sent to you.

An IP address looks like this:  192.168.1.1

Click Enter.

The next screen that comes up is a warning.  Ignore the warning, scroll down and click on advanced or what ever option is there to say it is ok to go on.

Each programmer that writes these router codes may put something different here.  Yours may look a little different but it is ok and will not hurt your computer.

After you click to advance, another screen may or may not pop up.  If it does, advance again to the next screen that has the login.

The user name will be populated by root or admin.  

Enter the password sent to you.

After you  log in, click on Modem in the upper menu then on Miscellaneous and this screen will come up.

On the at-command line, you will type in at=egmr=1,7,”##############”.  The ## will be replaced with the  number sent to you.

Click on Send Command and you should get an ok.

Turn off the router, remove the old SIM card and insert the new SIM card then turn the router back on.

You should have internet and be ready to go.
